The regional tourism organisation presents Foča as a starting point for the Tara, Zelengora and Sutjeska National Park. These are separate outings: an address labelled Foča does not mean every departure is nearby. [1][2]
Our suggested visit
We suggest one main activity per day. For rafting, obtain the exact meeting location and expected return time before booking the following night. For the mountains, build a day around the selected route and park guidance instead of adding it after another excursion.
Access and pace
Activity prices may cover very different services: transfers, meals, equipment or guiding. Ask for written inclusions, participation restrictions and cancellation arrangements. No river or mountain activity is presented here as risk-free.
Accommodation and getting around
Compare staying in town with sleeping near your actual starting point. With a rental car, confirm permitted roads and parking; a route visible on a map is not automatically suitable for the vehicle. An airport transfer does not necessarily include onward travel to a camp.
