The national park protects river and waterfall landscapes, including sites such as Štrbački buk and Martin Brod. Bihać and the park’s different access points are not one arrival location. Check with the operator for entrances and facilities that are actually open. [1][2]
Our suggested visit
We suggest one area per day rather than every waterfall. Allow time to reach the chosen entrance, follow marked visitor routes and return. Accommodation that fits this outing can be more useful than an attractive property far from the access you need.
Access and pace
For a water activity, ask the provider about conditions, equipment and participation restrictions. Park admission does not automatically include a rafting trip. Recheck access and activity conditions after significant bad weather.
